The Supreme Court decided on 6th May 2008 not to disqualify Patrick McGowan and Patricia McGowan, directors of Wood Products (Longford) Limited, on appeal from the High Court. The Judgment contains a useful clarification of the phrase "persistently in default" in Section 160(2)(f) and the related Section 160(3). The ODCE had appealed the High Court's earlier interpretation of the phrase.
