Alleged Offence(s): 
The defendants were each charged with four counts of an offence under section 202 of the Companies Act 1990, which requires the keeping of proper books of account. The charges related to the financial years ending the 30th of April, 2001; 30th April 2002; 30th April, 2003 and 30th April, 2004. 

Outcome: 
On a plea of guilty, the Court convicted each defendant of a single offence under section 202 of the Companies Act 1990 in relation to the financial year to 30th April, 2001 and imposed fines of €500 on each. The court also directed that the defendants pay prosecution costs and witness expenses totalling €1,000. All other charges before the court were taken into consideration.
