Alleged Offences: 
The defendants were each charged with an offence under section 202 of the Companies Act 1990, which requires the keeping of proper books of account. The charges related to the financial year ending the 31st of December 2003. 

Outcome: 
On a plea of guilty by each of the accused, the Court convicted the company and Kathleen Quain of an offence under section 202 of the Companies Act 1990, imposed a fine of €800 on the company and €350 on Kathleen Quain and directed each to pay prosecution costs totalling €300.
