C/2008/3 - Business Expansion and Seed Capital Schemes: The Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE) has published Draft Guidance on the Business Expansion and Seed Capital Schemes. The Director is inviting public comment by 31 October 2008.
Consultation Paper C/2008/2 - New ODCE Statement of Strategy: The Director of Corporate Enforcement has today (25 July 2008) issued a Consultation Paper on his Office’s new Strategy Statement. He is inviting public comment by 30 September 2008.
C/2008/1: ODCE Discussion Paper entitled 'Whistle-blowing and Irish Company Law': This Discussion Paper was primarily developed by ODCE staff in late 2007/early 2008 as part of their contribution to the examination by the Company Law Review Group of the desirability of including a whistle-blowing provision in the new Companies Consolidation Bill. It provides extensive analysis of the issue both generically and in relation to company law aspects.

Proposals to revise Directors' Compliance Statement legislation: On December 1, 2005, the Government published its proposals for amending the Directors' Compliance Statement (DCS) provision. It has been guided in its decision by the Company Law Review Group, which finalised and submitted its report to Minister Michael Ahern last July.

Referral of Compliance Statement to CLRG for Consideration: On April 21, 2005 the Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment announced that the relevant legislation enacting the Directors Compliance Statement (Section 45, Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Act 2003) was being referred to the Company Law Review Group.
