Referral of Compliance Statement to CLRG for Consideration

On April 21, 2005 the Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment announced that the relevant legislation enacting the Directors Compliance Statement (Section 45, Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Act 2003) was being referred to the Company Law Review Group.
The CLRG have been asked to express their views on the proportionality, efficacy and appropriateness of the Directors' Compliance Statement.
The Group's terms of reference are below.

The Minister has requested that the Group report back by the end of July, 2005.
