Alleged Offence(s): 
The first defendant was charged on 3 Counts with contravention of Section 161(1) of the Companies Act 1990 in acting as a director or secretary of two named companies whilst subject to a restriction order made by the High Court pursuant to Section 150 of the same Act and failing to abide by the conditions prescribed in the Act for continuing to act as a company director or secretary. 
The second defendant was charged on one count with contravention of Section 161(1) of the Companies Act 1990 in acting as a director of one named company whilst subject to a restriction order made by the High Court pursuant to Section 150 of the same Act and failing to abide by the conditions prescribed in the Act for continuing to act as a company director. 

Outcome: 
The Court proceeded to strike out the first two charges against the first named defendant. Charge 3 against the same defendant was struck out with costs of €300 awarded to the prosecution. 
The charge against the second named defendant was struck out with costs of €300 awarded to the prosecution.
