Mr Paul Appleby, the Director of Corporate Enforcement, has welcomed today’s decision of the High Court to disqualify for five years Mr John J. (a.k.a. Jack) Stakelum in consequence of the findings made by High Court Inspectors in their Report on Ansbacher (Cayman) Ltd. The proceedings involving Mr Stakelum represent the third and final disqualification action taken by the Director arising directly from the Ansbacher Inspectors’ Report.
