Alleged Offence(s):
The defendants were alleged to have contravened Section 202 of the Companies Act 1990, which requires the keeping of proper books of account. The allegations related to the financial year 1st September 2000 to 31st August 2001. 

Outcome:
On a plea of guilty the Court convicted the company and each director. A fine of €250 was imposed on the company, which was also ordered to discharge costs of €130 to the prosecution and witness fees of €750 + VAT @ 21% in respect of attendance at court. A fine of €250 was also imposed on each director as well as costs to the prosecution totalling €347.
