The defendants were alleged to have contravened Section 202 of the Companies Act 1990, which requires the keeping of proper books of account. The allegations relate to the financial year covering the period 1st January 2001 to the 31st December 2001. 

Outcome:
On a plea of guilty the court convicted the Company and imposed a fine of €950 and awarded costs to the prosecution of €223.59 and witness costs of €200 plus VAT. 

On a plea of guilty the court convicted Patrick Sheils director and secretary of the Company and imposed a fine of €950. 

The summons against Fergus Sheils, director was struck out.
