Outcome:
On a plea of guilty, the Court convicted the defendant of five offences under Section 202 of the Companies Act, 1990, imposed fines totalling €3,000 and directed the defendant to pay prosecution costs of €1,115. The Court fixed recognisances in the event of an appeal. The Accused has since appealed to the Circuit Court from the decision of the District Court. That appeal has not yet been determined.
